Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters arcade game is developed by Capcom. Mega Man is the most popular Capcom franchise up to date but as Kenji Inafune left the company Mega Man will be truly missed by look at the bright you see him in after game such as Super Smash Bros. If you don’t know what Mega Man is backstory time, Mega Man is a machine created by Dr. Light to bring peace to humanity and robots but Dr. Willy (Dr. Light colleague) want to rule the world and create evil robots called Robot Masters to destroy humans and robots, It’s up to Mega Man to put a stop Dr. Wily and his robot army. The gameplay of both series is you plays as Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass and Duo (sorry no Roll), you have to two buttons shoot and jump. These plays just like any other Mega Man game out there such as holding down the attack to shoot a powerful blast, dash, slide and use the robot masters weapon against them. You can use special moves such as “Mega Upper”, Proto Strike, Crescent Kick and Giant Knuckle. There are items such as robot helper (Rush, Treble and Beat), health, weapon energy, also there is Overdrive mode for Robot Master which trigger if they lost half of their health and gain new moves and
weapons. You can choose from three stories (Find Dr. Wily, Saving Roll and Recovering the Stolen Parts) with different Robot Masters from Mega Man 1 -10. You can choose what Robot Master stage you desired just like the NES games. The graphics of the game is very 16-bits colorful and the character sprites look like a downgrade from the NES one. The soundtrack is from the past Mega Man games but it’s updated. If you are a Mega Man fan play this game.
