X-Men arcade is a side-scrolling beat’em up game developed and published by Konami. It’s based on Marvel Comics X-Men series. This story of this game is six men (Cyclops, Woverine, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler and Dazzler) which the designs are based of 1989 X-Men pilot episode X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men. Tries to Magneto and his the Brotherhood of Evil (Pyro, Blob, Wendigo, Emma Frost and Juggeranut) also a group of Sentinels from wreaking havoc and kidnapping Kitty Pryde and Professor X. Fun fact: This game scripts is so infamous such as “X-Chicken”, “Welcome To Die”, I am Magneto Master of Magnet” and “Nothing can move the Blob”. As for the gameplay, there are 4-6 players on the screen you control the six X-Men along with your muntant power such as Nightcrawler can move around the screen, Colossus can shout and etc. These mutant power cost you alit of health, you also have you jump and attack buttons. The graphics in this game is 16-bit comic style and I am loving the cutscenes. The music in this games goes from thrilling through Superhero like. Fun fact: I am liking the boss theme “Do the Right Thing”. If you an X-Men fan buy this game. X-Men arcade is available for Arcade, PSN and XBLA.

  1. Haha! This game is hilarious and fun. I remember playing it in the arcades of yore, but I thought it was no longer available for purchase online? Just like the Simpsons side-scroller beat em up? I hope it is indeed back!
